Administrative – Paperwork is the backbone of a professional organization. Love it or hate it we need it. Used properly it makes life easier and helps an operation. Time allows it to give us a history that can be a predictor of future events.
-
Canine – Properly trained dogs can help an operation greatly. Improperly ones can harm an operation. We strive through education and training to have nothing less than the best.
-
Communications – Without communications safety and operations become an immediate issue. One of the most important tools in emergency services is the under-appreciated radio!
-
Education – Educating people about Search & Rescue is the best way to mitigate problems and potentially helps the most people with the least effort. It’s not glamorous or exciting but it can be fulfilling.
-
Medical – Caring for ourselves and others can become a priority as many times we are removed from the normal avenues of medical assistance.
-
Overhead – These are the people that are use past history and search management training to enable us to best use our resources to aid in the location and recovery of lost and missing persons.
-
Technical – Rope, water, and technology in general. All the tools we use to make ourselves able to do more better and safer. These tools build on existing skills to make us more effective.
