Unlike other emergency services, search & rescue are not supported by the state, county or federal government.

Private contributions ensure the equipment to search efforts and the training and safety of our volunteers. GPSAR is a non-profit 501(c)(3), entirely professional volunteer-run organization and your contributions are tax-deductible by the fullest extent of the law.
